Remember, since it is a meta achievement, separate achievements can be earned on different characters, as long as it's on the same battle.net account.

Pathfinder & B-for-A Flying
*This is going to be a real grind (similar to Legion Pathfinder I+II), so @ LVL 120 it will be basically the same as reaching LVL 110 in Legion.
- Finish filling in the gaps with Reps + Q-Lines, while doing WQ's and gearing up your Mains+ALTs everyone ! New Lands await you..

Asking the most important question: how much speed?

Comment by Ehnoah

Seems NYI. Got Achievment Today. But no passive Buff.
Also not learned : isSpellKnown (I tested both IDs)

Comment by Zurilia

Got Pathfinder today and you barely notice the speed increase it's pretty much the exact same as Legion pathfinder 1.0 so whatever the speed was from that it's the same for this.

Amp Vox Pathfinder 10

Comment by TTHH

Its 20% increased mount speed, you can check it with /run print(GetUnitSpeed('player') / 7 * 100); (it does not stack with the guild buff as maxser pointed out)

Comment by Nurmat

Just got the achievement and mounted speed was still 220% (I'm a paladin). Disconnect happened and it works now, i have 240% mounted speed.

Comment by JoeeyHunter

Does anyone know if this stacks with the mag'har orc racial?

Comment by Pr0d1gyR

Yep can confirm getting 240% as DK, it does stack.

Comment by kalerender

Can confirm it stacks with the Swift Landing buff you get from the BFA ship research tier 1.

Comment by Lightstylez

The movement speed reward from Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part One gives 20% extra mount speed, this also stacks with Crusader Aura (paladin aura) giving a total of 240% movement speed as a paladin. On top of that, it can stack with Swift Landing (BFA order advancement) giving 260% mount speed for 5 mins upon landing from a flight point as a paladin (should also work with Death Knight).

Comment by Mayo77

To me, these pathfinder achievements seem to get longer and more painful every expansion. I felt nothing but relief after this achievement was finished because honestly i just don't find it fun..
I really wish there was alternative ways to get flying, like pay a million gold, or pvping, or anything than day after day of grinding rep ~ a measly 10 rep at a time.

Comment by Animexlife

Very helpful, stacks with pally speed increase. I love passing people on the road lol. Looking forward to part 2, hoping instead of flight it gives you another speed boost.

Comment by ordamo

Druids travel form doesn't get the 20% extra speed -> useless
EDIT: they fixed it, now it works with druid form

Comment by BlizzardCS

Hey everyone,
We've been receiving reports about this achievement not granting the mount speed correctly. Our developers have checked it, and found out it works correctly. The thing that seems to be causing confusion is the way this mount speed stack with other similar buffs; the speed increase is additive, not multiplicative. This means that if you're currently at 200% mount speed, you won't gain 20% more, but will have instead 220% mount speed.
On the other hand, as it was the case with the similar achievement from Legion, the mount speed granted by Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part One does not stack with other speed increasing items.

Comment by deathbecomezher

I have this achievement and still do not have the speed increase, just shows mount speed 100% :( what do I need to do to get it to work?

Comment by LenteP

I know this is account wide, but is it wow account or bnet account? Want to make another wow account for my son, but does this carry over so he will have it too or will he have to earn it on that account aswell?

Comment by stormcrow008

Wait, so this is just an increased mount speed? Does this not allow flying in BFA zones? In that case, what achievement would allow flying here? Wait for Part 2 or something else?

Comment by pluvky

To get pathfinder can i do parts of the achievement on diffirent characters? I have voldun qust achievement on my main and nazir on an alt. On my main it shows when i mouse over it that it was completed on a date. But it is grayed out for my main. I will do them all on my main i just wanted claification. I know with previous pathfinder part 1 or 2 it was all meta minus thw rep. The rep i remember having to do on one charactor. Well atleast each faction i xould do diffirent factions on seperate characters but had to get revered per charactor. Thanks

Comment by AlexL1118

Would be nice to see requirements for part two - I want to start preparing already now (reputation? treasures? rare mobs?). But for some reason, I can't find this information even on the PTR web-site. Can someone point me to the correct place?

Comment by Icewoommaanny

Any idea when Part two will be released - so much more I want to see but I really need to fly (especially the flying mounts I have purchased)
Would love to know :D
Thanks xo

Comment by Mellro

My guess is that, like other pathfinder sequels, Part Two will come as part of either the penultimate or ultimate patch to come out of BfA, and will most likely involve grinding reputation for a faction that doesn't exist yet, as well as completing the main storyline of said patch, and maybe the WQs in the new area as well.

Comment by lyonstar

When do we get Pathfinder Part 2? It's not in the Achievements to show us what is required. Flying in zuldazar/kul tiras would be really nice.

Comment by Pangolin

The bonus doesn't stack for with the +20% baseline speed of Paladins and Death Knights for their flying mounts (410% to 410%), but does for their ground mounts (220% to 240%). Overall there doesn't seem to be an increase of speed for flying mounts with any class in the corresponding zones.

Comment by Fellahj

I earned BFA Pathfinder 1 on my main character and she is able to fly. However, my alts cannot fly even though BFA Pathfinder 1 appears in their spellbooks. I've been away for a few months and might have forgotten if I need to do something else. Do I need to visit a flight trainer? Should I submit a ticket to Blizzard Support? Not sure why my main can fly but my alts can't.

Comment by alpha17x

I have only one tip for those trying to do this, though hopefully, nearly everyone is well on their way;
Use only the Tortollan rep scroll and no other rep scrolls, and have the buff active whenever you do emissary quests. It seems like not much, but when you're half way through honored after you finally run out of stuff to do and you're just grinding, you may be able to hold the tears back.

Comment by Aveliia

Just wanted to say F you to Blizzard for making these so tedious and annoying to unlock flying.

Comment by jenkinsta

Ok, I started back up in Shadowlands from half complete BFA. Trying to complete the Part two wide world of quests and can't find where I need to pick back up. I don't see any world quests in any zone of Kul Tiras, I have 3 of the ready for war complete. Also, the rep is mostly neutral so I was wondering maybe I need more rep, now I fly to different places to pick up quests and 5 don't have any, maybe completed them. Where are the main hubs I need to focus on and restart where I left off? So frustrating, having doubts on actually bothering and playing if I am so lost.

Comment by Spiral123

I wish Blizzard would consider removing the Azerothian Diplomat requirement.
Complete the Kul Tiras and Zandalar achievements listed below.

Criteria

Battle for Azeroth Explorer (1)
Wide World of Quests (1)
War Campaign (1)
Azerothian Diplomat (1)
Complete Zone Questlines (1)

Rewards

  • Reward: Increased Mount Speed in Kul Tiras and Zandalar
